Southern Africa is faced with increasing water resource scarcity challenges due to population growth and climate change. Turning these into opportunity requires a need for both water technology innovation and water behavioral change, in order to manage water resource scarcity in a sustainable manner. . Join us for the Water Sustainability Symposium, as we discuss how to turn challenges and opportunities within the sector. The Symposium will be hosted jointly by the Water Reuse, Membrane Technology and Water Science Division’s of WISA at the Lord Charles Hotel in Cape Town, on the 7-10 May 2017. The symposium aims to bring together researchers and professionals from various nexus to address water scarcity within Southern Africa. The conference theme is “From Scarce to Sufficient” and through oral presentations as well as workshops, aims to discuss a multifaceted approach to dealing with water scarcity. Abstract submission has been extended to 27 January 2017. All abstracts must be submitted in electronic WORD format by email.
